Moscow: 15 people, including 11 students, were killed in a school shooting in Russia. 24 people were injured. Police say the shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The school in central Russia’s Izhevsk region has students from grades 1 to 11. Yesterday a mysterious person entered this school with a gun. He fired indiscriminately at the students there. 15 people including 11 children died tragically in this firing. Another 24 people, including 14 children, were injured.
The shooter was wearing a black t-shirt. Those who witnessed the incident reported that the Nazi symbol was engraved on it. The man shot himself and died in the classroom shortly after the shooting, police said. But the mystery person is yet to be identified. The inquiry committee has conducted a serious inquiry into the firing. Russian President Putin expressed his condolences to the families of the students who died.
