PARIS: The UN has accused Russia of encouraging its soldiers to use Viagra pills to rape Ukrainian women. The war between Ukraine and Russia has been going on for over 8 months. Some of the referendums held by the UN General Assembly and the Security Council to end the war have been successful and resolutions have been passed. India has taken a pro-Russia stance in many of these cases.
In this case, Pramila Patton, the UN’s special representative on sexual violence, has accused Russia of encouraging its soldiers by giving them Viagra tablets to rape women in the war-affected Ukraine. “Russia uses this as a strategy to deliberately dehumanize war victims. The women themselves have confirmed that the Russian military has Viagra pills,’ he said.
