Political leaders and celebrities use the ‘blue tick’ system on their official Twitter accounts. They confirm that this Twitter account is their official Twitter account.
This allows specific users to take advantage of various features on Twitter. In this case, it was reported that they have decided to charge up to Rs. 1600 (19.99 dollars) from the users of ‘Blue Dick’ every month. Many expressed dissatisfaction with this.
In this regard, Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, said in his Twitter account, ‘We also have to pay the fee (bill). Twitter cannot rely entirely on advertisers. Will you pay if it’s $8?’ He questioned.
Following his comment, it has been announced that ‘Blue Dick’ will be charged an additional $8 (Rs. 660) per month, and those who pay more will be able to record video, audio, etc. for additional time.
And Elon Musk has announced that anyone can now get this blue tick code, which was only available to celebrities and officials on Twitter.
Elon Musk has said that those who complain about Twitter’s $8 per month fee to get a blue tick code, keep complaining, but I will not change the fee.
