Qatar has prepared a total of 8 stadiums to host the World Cup football matches. One of them is the old stadium which has been completely renovated. The other 7 stadiums were newly constructed with lakhs of foreign workers working round the clock. Stadium 974, Education City Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Al Janub Stadium and Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium can accommodate up to 40,000 spectators. 45,416 fans at Khalifa International Stadium and 60,000 fans at Al Bait Stadium can enjoy live football matches.

The final match of the World Cup football series will be held at the Lucille Stadium with a maximum capacity of 80,000 people. The football World Cup series starts on November 21 and lasts for 28 days. A total of 64 matches will be played in this series with 32 teams participating. The final will be played on December 18 at the Lucille Stadium. Qatar is trying to successfully conduct the series beyond the controversies that started when it won the right to host the World Cup of Wrestling with the United States, Australia, Japan, and South Korea. All sports facilities are within 50 km from the capital city of Doha. They are located at a distance of 1 hour drive from each other.

All the facilities are being made according to the traveling comfort of the fans of the teams participating in the competition. Organizers estimate that around 15 lakh fans will watch the match. As there are only about 1.75 thousand hotel rooms for tourists there, the Qatar government has contracted with a shipping company to prepare floating hotels. With all the stadiums within 180 km, fans can easily reach them. There is no doubt that the Football World Cup to be held in Qatar will give fans a slightly different experience.
