Mexico: The poisoning of 57 school students in Mexico has caused great shock. At a high school in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, several students fainted one after the other while classes were going on as usual last Friday. After this, the school management immediately took 57 unconscious students to the hospital. In the preliminary examination of the doctors, it was revealed that all of them had been poisoned.
Police investigations also revealed that two more schools in Chiapas province had poisoned students in the past two weeks. Mexican police suspect that drug cartels may be behind the poisoning of students at 3 schools. The Chiapas Provincial Police have since intensified their investigation.
